One of the biggest challenges we have when it comes to achieving our goals is taking consistent action over a long period of time!
We set our new years resolution, make big plans, tell everyone how great we are going to be and feel AWESOME about the new version of us that's waiting around the corner!
We start our first week with our new plan and it's only a little bit harder than we
thought it would be, but we're doing well enough!
Week two comes by and we realise it might take longer than we thought to get to where we want to go, but it's okay, it will be worth it!
Before we know it a few months have passed and we remember, "hey I had an AWESOME plan to be better! What happened?!"
Woops!
This happens to everyone, so it's perfectly okay, if not a little embarrassing.
The obstacle to achieving our big goals is usually that we make them TOO BIG!
It's good to be ambitious, but the best results come from making small stepping stones along the way!
Setting smaller goals along the way keeps us focused, motivated, and energised!
If you want to accomplish something big, make sure you have those small stepping stones so that you have something achievable to sink your teeth into!
